Arrest Records in Stone County
The Stone County Sheriff's Office supplies the clearest local starting point. Its official site links to a current inmate roster, a new-inmates view, and a recent-releases view. Mountain View Police, Arkansas State Police, and other agencies may make an arrest, but a person booked locally enters the Stone County Detention Facility's custody system. The public entry can show who made the arrest, when the booking occurred, alleged charges, bond, and a court setting.
That entry is a custody record, not a lifetime criminal-history report. It can predate a prosecutor's filing and may list a hold, court sentence, failure to appear, or failure to pay. A filed court case later records amended charges, pleas, dismissals, judgment, and sentence. Arkansas Criminal History, known as ARCH, is a separate repository result with its own legal limits. Keeping those products apart prevents a recent Stone County booking from being mistaken for a conviction.
Stone County 48-Hour Bookings

A Stone County roster entry exposes a defined set of public fields. Some entries contain more data than others, so a blank bond or court field should not be read as proof that none exists. The reviewed pages did not display a date of birth, Social Security number, detailed street address, warrant number, housing pod, medical status, or protective-custody flag.

Stone County Detention Classifications
The Stone County Detention Facility was built in 1994 and expanded to a capacity of 40 inmates. Four housing units include one female unit. Since May 2019, staff have used an Objective Classification System to classify and separate people in custody.
The jail holds both pretrial detainees and post-conviction inmates waiting for transfer to the Arkansas Department of Corrections. That local detail changes how a roster status should be read. Continued appearance in Stone County custody does not necessarily mean a case is awaiting trial. Stone County Jail Programs
Custody records do not capture all activity inside the jail. The sheriff announced rehabilitation and work efforts in 2024, including GED programming for nonviolent offenders and related plans involving classes, cleanup, and community work. Those programs provide local custody context without changing the meaning of an arrest or court outcome.

These official updates are institutional context, not evidence about any named person's guilt, sentence, or release.
Arrest Records vs Conviction Records
An arrest and a conviction are different events held in different systems. The sheriff or jail creates the booking record. A court creates the judgment after filed charges move through hearings, plea or trial, and disposition. ARCH then reports only the Arkansas information authorized for that repository product.
